Patriot VP4100 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 is the new, fastest SSD on the market, with sequential reads of 5000 MB / s. It was created to provide proper performance for devices with Ryzen 3000 processors and X570 motherboards.

The new Patriot VP4100 is an SSD drive for people looking for maximum performance who, when building a computer, do not necessarily count on costs, but they care about performance. The disk uses the PCI Express Gen4x4 interface with the NVMe 1.3 protocol and is based on TLC 3D NAND memories.

There will be three versions of the market with proportional size DDR4 cache buffers. The 500 GB disk will receive 512 MB cache, 1 TB will be equipped with 1 GB cache and 2 TB will have 2 GB cache. All versions offer sequential read at 5000 MB / s and write up to 4400 MB / s. The declared random write performance is 800K IOPS.

Patriot praises the device for supporting compression compression algorithms and LDPC in the case of the ECC algorithm. Maintaining the proper disk operating temperature will be possible thanks to the use of an aluminum heat sink.

Patriot VP4100 – price and availability

The Patriot VP4100 will hit the market first with a 2 TB and 1 TB version. Suggested prices are 2040 and 1060 PLN, respectively. A smaller variant with a capacity of 500 GB is expected to appear in stores "at a later date". However, specific dates are not provided in all cases.
